The NBA plays five games on Christmas Day, and each one gets its own free squares board on ScoreBoard - five boards, from the early tip to the late game out West.
Christmas Day (Central time): Spurs at Knicks (tip time to be announced) - Heat at Celtics, 1:30 PM - 76ers at Lakers, 4:00 PM - Thunder at Timberwolves, 7:00 PM - Nuggets at Warriors, 9:30 PM. The last four are on ABC and ESPN.
San Antonio: the Spurs play the Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Christmas Day. Their board opens in the days before the game.
How squares work: tap an open square on the 10x10 board using free Tickets (new players start with 250). Numbers from 0 to 9 are drawn for the rows and columns. At the end of each quarter, the last digit of each team's score lands on one square, and every quarter has a Right Way and a Wrong Way square, so 8 squares hit each game.
Basketball scores land on every digit, so no square on an NBA board is a dead one - that is what makes NBA squares fun every night.
